  1. It depends on the actions of the group of people he is going through with.

If they do what is perscribed, it should be about 5-7 days.

  2. Mail goes out everyday (they get to write more than just on Sundays- that hasn't been the standard in a while!) but a letter will take 3-4 days to reach you.

    vice versa

You can send a letter every day but it will take 3-4 days to reach the recruit.

  3. The first week they are there, it's called P Days, Processing Days, mostly they fill forms and have their shots, etc. This FIRST week does not count towards boot camp.

The second week they will have their division and ship number, therefore they will be busy getting used to this. However, by this time, you can call the recruits recruiter to get their address and YOU should be able to write to them.

They will get the mail, they have time to write every Sunday, so if they write to you, you may get it around the 3rd week officially. Want more advice? Information about boot camp? Go to http://www.mynavyonline.com Im KJC88 we can help a lot more!

    Good luck!

  4. they are given a few hours on Sundays only to write.  it's up to them whether they do, and who they write to.
