How long will it take to get a licensee plate for a motor scooter

It is a 49cc and was bought on 7-30-08 it was bought in macomb il I am on a temporary tag but have no way to check the status of my new plate

  1. If you have a temporary plate and the registration is legitimate don't worry. The temp may expire but the permanent plate is soon to arrive. If you are pulled over by a policeman show the registration, proof of insurance and he will know MVD hasn't caught up yet. I have yet to buy a cycle here in Arizona and receive the plate in the allotted 6 weeks. Protect the temp paper plate with a plastic cover.


  2. Once you are in the state's MVD system, it then just takes whatever time it takes.  Ususally a month or more.  That's the way it is.

  3. You get your plate the same day you pay for the license and registration here
