How long will it take to get a train from London to Manchester?

If I leave at 2pm? And how much will it cost retuning on the same day.

The next train leaves Euston at: 14:05 and arrives in Manchester Piccadilly at 16:24 so it takes 2 hours 19 Minutes

Then the next one leave Euston at: 14:35 and arrives in Manchester 16:46 so takes 2 hour 11 minutes.

The cost of a Saver /Cheap Day return is: £61.40 while a Standard Open Ticket is: £115.00

£62.40 for saver return, you save 1/3 if you have a young persons railcard (must be in full time education or under 25) cost £20 - so you could almost have the railcard for free if you get that sorted as will still cost 60 quid.

Alternatively get two single one there and back, but if you miss it you will have to pay full price!! but to get good prices on these you need to book well in advance ie month or more

and it's about 3 or 3.5 hours to picadilly.
