How long will it take to get back to Jersey from NYC during rush hour?

So I have to be in NYC till 6pm this Thurs. Anyone have an idea how long it will take me to get back to the Montclair area if I drive back myself?

I'm guessing at least an hour.  At least.

Listen to the traffic reports tonight and tomorrow just to get an idea of what it's like going out to NJ at that time of evening.

It all depends which part of NYC you are in.  It might take 2 hours...
