How long will it take to grant your f2 visa?

My husband is already a Dependent Visa holder of a Diplomat holder (his dad) He is applying for a student Visa so that he can get me there. I just want to ask the F2 visa holders out there if how long will it take to wait if my husband already have an F1 visa in USA?? please email me.. [e-mail]..

Depending on the volume of the visa issuances of the Nonimmigrant Visa Unit, visa processing after the interview usually takes at least one week*.  After the one-week visa processing, the receipt of a passport with a visa may take longer, depending on the applicant’s delivery address.
