How long will it take to learn the whole dictonary?

Are we talking Webster's or The Collins Pocket Edition? You should get through the latter in, say, a month or so. But real tricky and arcane words are not going to be in it - so if your aim is to know every English word you need one of the real hefty dictionaries - in which case about a year's research I would say which you will then need to keep up to date as the meaning of words changes, new ones are added and some become obsolete. It might be easier to aspire to work for one of the major Dictionary Press companies and combine your hobby with your occupation.

10-12 lives (if you believe in reincarnation)! As soon as you come to start memorising the, say, "J" words, the "A" words start evaporating out of your mind! Why not try to learn a few useful words, instead of a pile of eccentric, archaic words of no use?

to learn a language on should have at least basic knowledge of Math

you can't calculate anything if you don't know

1) how many there are words in the dictionary

2) how many words per day you are able to memorize

if the dictionary contains 24 words you will be able to learn it in a day

but it's not about learning the words but also about keeping them in the memory

what about thinking well before doing anything?

depends on well you study and how well you remember.  i might remember the first six words after three hours.

Too long. why would  you want to learn every word?

If you want to increase your vocabulary, either of your mother tongue or a foreign language, try learning a few words a day for fun, sure, but the whole dictionary? no thanks.

Depends how big it is anyway.
