How long will it take to process a Z visa for teaching English in China?

I'm an English teacher from the Philippines and I got a teaching job offer for China this coming September 2008. This will be my first time to go out from the country. I just wonder how long would it take to process a Z visa? by the way, I don' t have the letter of invitation from my sponsor yet.

First, you will be very lucky to get the z visa at all right now.  We are expecting that it may take at least 30-60 days to apply for the invitation which you will need to obtain the visa in your home country..
