It could take a while because there is no snow in China apart from the Himalayas and if you tried winter sports there, your could cause an Avalanche!

I can't see that happening because the European countries have such a strong history in the Winter Olympics...as do the North Americans....but I suppose years ago, I wouldn't have thought Chinese would win gold in canoeing and they did....

If the Chinese want to invest money into Winter Olympics then maybe.....12 years????
