How long will my computer take to get fixed?

It's already been 2 weeks on this coming friday.

and the guy said he's still putting cds on and defragging the computer. like taking everything off then restarting. how long will it take? it's already been 2 weeks!

formatting a computer (removing everthing) and reinstalling a new OS would just take less than 3 hours, depending on your computer speed.
