How long will my red eared slider turtle live for?

Ive got 2 (Gepeto+Terry Yertle) bought them a couple of years ago and love them !! got a big massive tank set up with fish to amuse them. Didnt give it much thought when I bought them but they could be with me until I am old and grey !!

. I have had my 2 slider  girls for 36 yrs. And I am old and a little gray. LOL

Plus  I have n 8 and 5 yr old and now a 2 yr old adopted from this site.. Been in a pond for almost 7 yrs now.

***I got these  on my 18th birthday! What a long lasting gift!

any where from 20 to 100 years probably most people have to put turtles in their wills.

If you take proper care of them, a RES can live for a few decades. If you don't, a few weeks.
