How long will offroading be around??

i live in a small town and here everyone goes offroading, and mostly teenagers, and i was wondering how long do u think offroading will be around like i mean anything mudding wheeling anything to do will GAS this is a problem gas prices are going up and people are starting to buy cars and stuff

i need to know because i have to wait 1 more yeaer to drive and i am going to buy a truck but will i be able to afford it

It will be around for a long time, it all depends on the person and if he or she is willing to spend all of that money going 4-wheeling....
