How long will people be asking McCann related questions

This horrible event happened over a year ago yet, it is still producing highly charged debates and arguments.

Whether you are Anti or Pro McCann why do you think that this particular case has aroused such interest?

Your opinions please.

And please try not to rip each others head off when you answer. This place is like a zoo when you lot kick off ;-)

There was a brief spell when this went quiet simply because there was little or no press coverage for a while. Now the police files have been released its been like someone stirring up an ants nest. Some people here just can't accept the fact that the McCanns have been released as suspects and the case has been wound down through lack of evidence.

The McCanns catapulted this 'abduction' into the public eye only hours after Madeleine went missing.   They started a huge publicity machine which is now difficult to stop.   Madeleine's face has been seen worldwide almost daily, and of course there was the Find Madeleine fund which people have many questions about too.

I don't think people will ever stop discussing this until Madeleine, or her corpse, is found and the persons responsible are brought to justice.

i guess the thought of a Mum grieving for her missing child being hounded & slated makes me mad. She has enough on her mind than to spend time & energy defending herself.

The McCanns are unique as the first parents of a missing child ever to refuse to answer police questions, help with a reconstruction, admit their actions have obstructed the search for their daughter and kept the spotlight firmly on themselves and away from searching for Madeleine!!

They employ a publicist to keep them in the limelight and whilst he does occasionally mention Madeleine it is a very rare event and only as an aside to a long piece focusing on the parents.

It all seems deliberately designed to keep the eyes of the world away from looking for Madeleine!

So this will run and run.  When another child goes missing this case will be refer ed back to time and again!!!

I am sure that police forces worldwide will be using it in their training about how to handle the oddballs who seem not to want the search for their children to succeed!!!

I'm not anti or pro McCann, but I am pro justice. Until there is evidence that the parents did anything worthy of at least being charged, then they are innocent until proven guilty.

The McCann related questions will continue for as long as those not satisfied until they get their pound of flesh have exhausted all possible avenues by which to blame the parents for something.

Well since it's highly unlikely the parents will, I guess that will be forever or until someone brave enough makes a stand and justice is served. I think it as gained such high publicity mainly because that's what the Mc's wanted. They abandoned their children and neglected them night after night then to escape justice connived an abduction theory. They have gone out of their way to hinder the investigation. they have made millions in the process, travelled the world but in none of it have they shown any concern for Madeleine but their own selfish necks. It is all about them and their reputation. They have a legal team big enough to sue the world and have had the government and political friends interfering and teams of professional spinners! it is a political scandal and I hope to God justice will be served by one brave soul and bring the whole sickening saga crashing down on their guilt ridden heads.

madeline is found, alive.

madelines' body is found.

one of the Tapas 9 crack & give a different, incriminating answer to a question, they at the time, refused to answer.

we'll be forever wondering & surmising would the outcome had been different if her parents hadn't neglected her
