How long will roses stay alive in a car?

My friend has been having some problems lately with relationships and stuff and is not that happy. she needs some cheering up and so i want to surprise her with some roses or maybe a rose. her and i work together and i want to leave a rose(her favorite flower) in one of her favorite colors on her car windshield so when she gets off work she will see it and be happy.haha. i get to work before her and we both work kinda late but she will be off before me...so im going to have to go out and do it during the night. i dont want to keep the flowers in the restaurant that i work at because ppl ask questions and i dont like questions.haha. would the flowers last in my car for like 4 hours or so even with it being hot out?

I usually wrap the stem in damp paper towels .and make sure the rose is out of the direct sun.This has kept roses nice for me while traveling for several hours.

water wrap on plastic works well ask any florist. Maybe cover them and put them out of the sun
