Question:

How long will sensitivity after circumcision last?

Just today I got circumcised. I don't want to hear any of the opinionated garbage about how it's unnecessary, unethical, unnatural, whatever the f$ck. I had an uncircumcised p***s for 18 years, had phimosis, stretched everyday for 4 years and got nowhere so I went to a urologist and he took care of me.

Now, since I had phimosis and the glans of my p***s was never directly exposed it is really really sensitive, raw almost, I feel almost every movement I make with it. If anyone has any experience with it, how long before it starts to look and feel like a regular circumcised glans?

  1. I was circumcised when I was 19, and I know exactly what your talking about, In my case it took about 2-3 weeks before things finally felt normal.  Some will argue that circumcision reduces sensation during sexual intercourse but, that's nothing more than scare tactics to discourage individuals from choosing to get circumcised.  Even years after i've been circumcised the sensation is still as high as it's ever been.

  2. just a few days and you will be past the soarness and very happy that you have had this done.

  3. to be very honest only a DR can answer that question. But it should not last more than two weeks i venture to guess ... follow post op instruction that is the key ..

  4. I had a circumcism at age 44 after a gland got clogged and had to be removed.  Rather than have an unbalanced look the urologist did a complete circumcision and it was two weeks before the stitches could be removed.  It was another two weeks before I could have unprotected s*x with my wife; and now 19 years later i still have issues with inflammation and scar tissue.

If Ihad known then what I know now I would have lanced the d**n thing myself and doused it with peroxide.

  5. My brother was cut a few years ago when he was 17.  He said that it took a couple of months before it didn't drive him right up the wall.  I think he got some kind of ointment or lotion from the doctor that numbed the head of it for awhile so that it wasn't super sensitive.

  6. I was circumcised at 18 as well. I never had problems, just opted for it! Really the best thing I have ever done! As for you, wear tight underwear for the first few weeks. Ice it as needed the first week to keep the swelling down. After the bandage is removed go for a bit looser underwear. It takes a few weeks, but you will never regret it! Don't listen to the antis that will tell you that you lost so much sensitivity, that is all BS! Most antis are uncircumcised and haven't got a clue!

  7. The sensitivity will die down shortly, just try not to stimulate your p***s so much, the lack of moisture to your p***s glands will cause the cells to die, your nice pink head will turn to normal skin colour.

You'll lose a crapload of sensitivity, I know as i was circumsized when i was 5.

  8. Obama and Surfinyoga gave you some good info.  You might also try wearing compression type shorts.  also try the Helly Hansen underarmour boxer type shorts.  they are made of polypropylene and wont have much friction.  when u r at home and have privacy try not to wear any underwear.  Keep mr wiggly free.  Like they said it should take a few weeks.  If you need more answers and support try these two groups
