First of all the company have sent it to the wrong address - therefore nobody was in to sign for the package and I don't have the Delivery card with the details on to track it on their website.

How long will it be held at the post office or depo before they send it back?

  1. For recorded items it is only 1 week, normal packages 3 weeks

  2. I BELIEVE ITS 3 WEEKS FOR RECORDEDE AND 1 WEEK FOR SPEACIAL

  3. Recorded delivery is also monitored and tracked along with special delivery and registered post. Recorded delivery is for low value items such as postal orders and cheques and at least you know the recipient cant claim not to have received the item as it is traceable as are the others. the limit for recorded delivery is £32, i think the limit for registered is £250, i do not know the limit for Special delivery.

Incidentally Recorded delivery items can be traced after 28 days have elapsed from day of posting, if mislaid.

  4. 5 days

  5. No longer than a week, I just found this out to my annoyance and now I've got to try and get the original people to re-send it again... >(

  6. Just 1 week u need to get down there collect it soon u need ur id aswell  or you can send someone else to collect it for you but they need their id and urs contact ur local sorting office and explain wat has happened and they will find ur package by ur name and address.

  7. If it was sent to the wrong address, then it may already be sent back.
