  1. I suppose u are talking about fossil fuels?? Well I am sorry but the earth has a fossil fuel recycle process and it is the plants. The fossil fuels are the plant fossils So we will never run out of fossil fuels .

  2. I expect you mean the world as we know it - the "inhabitable by humans" one.

Most over-population in nature has a point of self-correction (sustainability).

It remains to be seen whether natural changes on Earth will be mans downfall, or whether it will be that man has a hand in helping out his own demise.(as long as there is a future...)

Time frame for either one seems to be quicker than previously thought by "civilized" man.

Remember that, in nature, living long enough to reproduce means the organism is successful....

The Earth as a planet will survive a very long time, as man counts time - barring detrimental celestial events.

It might be that man won't last that long, though.

Renewable or non-renewable energy will make a difference to the time frame only.

    Energy spent = heat

Man (and all life) is not capable of not producing heat.

    Therein lies the rub.

Our very existence means we produce heat.

    That is the problem.

  3. The world will be around until the Sun goes super-nova.  There just might not be a fat lot living on it, long before then.

Good news, there is that other earth like planet we can all move to!

  4. Oh, the world will be around for a looong, looong time. It is humans that will disappear - and that beautiful, natural voice will be saying "Buh bye, now" as the last one of us checks out.

  5. We're not all gonna die or anything like that.

But if we don't plan a transition away from fossil fuels, life will be very unpleasant.

Mostly we'll be poor, paying a whole lot for energy, dealing with flooded coastal areas, and trying desperately to feed ourselves as agriculture gets blasted by global warming.

Life will go on, but it will be very hard.  We can do a whole lot better if we're smart.

  6. as long as God allows it to.

  7. i bet not very long..... but hey who gives a flyin' ****.:(
