Question:

How long will this stay on my police record in Ontario Canada?

The police came to my house on 2 occasions, once for a dispute with my mother, and once because my neighbours were complaining about noise from my pellet gun.

The cops didn't charge me in either case and I did not go to court, or hear anything from them. The cops came, talked to me quickly, and left.

How long will this stay on my record? It happened over 1.5 years ago.

I realize I did not commit a crime.

The reason I ask is because I want to get my hunting licence and on the RCMP form you must tell them about certain things such as crimes and stuff, also domestic disputes etc.

Even if the RCMP denies me i will still be able to hunt with crossbow without their approval, but still, I would prefer to have a rifle licence and own a crossbow.

What should I do? I can't get my records from the police because I don't have photo ID, because I don't drive. So, thats out of the question. I don't know how they expect u to have 2 pieces of ID with one photo ID if you don't drive, because drivers licences are the only ones with pictures! Plus health cards are no good....so what do they expect?

Anyways, what do you guys think? I need to know how long these little things stay on your record or on file if you haven't been charged with anything. If I don't know, I can't answer the forms accurately and truthfully.

  1. you know what ill tell you exactly what you said to the girl that pulled over suck it up if you have problems with your mom keep it too your self and dont be picking on other people because thats just pathetic

  2. You were not arrested nor cited to court so there is no record. When asked by any one about your record just say you have none and if they check they will find nothing on you.
