How long will university be a day/week?

I am going to be a vet when I am older and when I am in university I want the best grades and higher chances of passing how long do you think I will be there a week/day?

The question is confusing but the best advice given is always 2 hours of study to every 1 hour on instruction. So the average 3 hour class would require 6 hours of study per week for that class.

Full time college is usually 12-15 credits, and that is the number of hours in the classroom.  When you have lab courses, each one is an additional 3 hours per week (such as chemistry).  You should plan to spend about 2-3 hours per hour of classroom time studying and working on papers and presentations.  So, college is pretty much a full time "occupation."  You can work but I would limit if you can, especially in the first year.
