How long will your mouth pop out when having braces?

I just got braces yesterday, and my mouth pops out ....my upper lip...its so ugly. How long will it stay like that? What can i do to make it not so poppy?

either your getting braces back from the 1970's that were big railroad tracks or your dentist sucks at putting braces on because today braces are nothing, they are small and nobody i know mouths pop out!! you just got them on they are going to be weird at first and look like that but give it time and when you close your mouth you wont even relieze you have braces on!

Sorry to tell you but will likely always do that! At least until you get your braces off.

And I bet it actually did that before but you never looked closely at it. If your lip sat on your tooth now, a few millimeters are now added because of the braces...

Maybe you only notice it because the braces are new,

trust me thats what i was like.

The feeling will go away once you get used to having braces.

People dont notice it as much as you do, honest!

your mouth will look bigger than usual but you cant do nothing about it you will just get used to it
