How long would 450 mg of Trazadone put me to sleep for?

Yeah I'm an insomniac.. I'm tired of this c**p.

I'm going to take 3 tablets just so I can sleep for a good 24 hours.. Little experiment I guess.

How long could I expect 3 to knock me out for?

Yeah dumb I know. I already took them but I don't feel woozy yet.

It may not provide a good quality of sleep that makes you feel rested.

Consider things like low light before going to sleep, a back ground noise like a fan or classical music to cover up noises that make you think, and and over the counter sleeping aid that contains diphenhydramine (found also in the allergy medicne benadryl).

Talk with your doctor before changing your dosing.

Trazodone has a REALLY bad side effect for men-- priapism; the medical term for an erection that doesn't go away without prompt (if it lasts longer than 4 hours) medical attention.

You might want the ER doc to prescribe you a bit of Lunesta!
