How long would a bus ride be from Mexico City to Guanajuato?

I might be studying abroad next summer in Guanajuato, Cuernavaca, or Mexico City. I know how close Cuernavaca and Mex.City are, just not Guanajuato...

Guanajuato is 3 1/2 to 4 hours by bus from Mexico, D.F.  Mexico City has several bus stations. The one you want is Terminal de Norte. There are several bus lines going to Guanajuato, including Primera Plus.

It is also less than an hour from the airport at Leon/Silao, know as BJX airport (for Bajio).

Guanajuato is 4 to 5.5 hours from Mexico City depending on which bus you take and the time of day you travel.  Some buses stop in Queretaro or Irapuato and obviously take longer, however, some buses are non-stop to GTO.  Take the bus from the North Terminal.  ETN is the most comfortable.

I used to live in GTO and it is a great place to study Spanish.

Guanajuato is about 5 hours away by bus.  Cuernavaca is one hour away (depending on the traffic- everything here depends on the traffic)  Good luck.

Come to Guanajuato ill show you the city =P hehe, well about the bus ride like 4 and a half hours you can easily watch two movies and ta daa, you're here hehe last time i saw annapolis =), try to catch an etn bus , those are the best.
