I have Invisalign that I will finish around November or December. How long would I be in braces to really correct my bite and my midline, which is about half a tooth off? Also, how much do you think it would cost for whatever the amount of time is?

  1. hey i dont understand ur situation at all, ur recieving treatment for invisalign already so why are u requesting to take braces afterward. Obviously ur invisalign supposed to correct all the problem, (overbite, underbite, crowded, crooked etc) and align the teeth to its final destination. There should not be a tooth could escape the treatment. The final result should be satisfying. Did u not watch the visual model of ur teeth from the computer at ur ortho?

braces take more than a year and will cost half as much as invisalign

  2. I agree with the first poster.

Why would you need to get braces after Invisalign?

I'm wearing Invisalign right now to correct some crowding, an open bite and a midline shift, So basically all of my teeth have to be moved.

I have a 6 months treatment for the top and a 15 months treatment for the bottom. I'm not supposed to need braces after that.
