How long would a pregnancy test show a negative?

Question

how long would an hpt show a negative if you were infact pregnant?

i took 7 tests 3,4,&5 weeks after the date i would have concived if i was pregnant. all were negative.

was that too early to take tests, or do you think they're correct?

Im planning on taking another test tomorow [it'll be 6 weeks since possible conception then.]

Also, ive had some symptoms of pregnancies the past week- cramping, breast tenderness,lower back pain,gas-

But i have had my period since the last time i had s*x [which is the time im thinking i might have gotten pregnant] Also, we used a condom, and it didn't rip.

What do you think?

I think you're not pregant, I would trust the third week's result.  if you've gotten your period since you've had s*x, then for sure you're not pregnant.  your symptoms sound a little bit like pms.  I say don't waste the hpt tomorrow, I don't think you're pregnant.  I think you should try and concive again.  

the longest I think you're suppose to wait for a positive result is a week after your expected period, if you don't have a positive result by then, you shouldn't be pregnant

I think you need some s*x-ed!

You used a condom, you had a period, and sucessive pregnancy tests are all coming up negative.

I think these are all pretty strong signals that you aren't pregnant.

The other symptoms you describe are not symptoms of pregnancy if the above it true, it's PMS.  Women just about to get their period have cramping, breast tenderness, gas, lower back pain.

I think you are wasting your money on pregnancy tests, you even said that you had your period since the last time you had s*x...you are not pregnant, stop wasting money on pregnancy tests.

You used a condom..... You've had your period, you've got negative tests, it doesn't sound like you're pregnant to me.
