  1. Well, a holiday working visa allow you to travel around Australia over a 12 month period (http://www.nationalvisas.com.au/working/...

As for a skilled visa, you may apply for an independent or sponsored skilled visa.

  2. The quickest method is to apply through e-visa once you know what sort of visa you require.

The most obvious things that stop you getting a work visa is.

    1. Criminal record

    2. Outstanding warrants

    3. Adverse character report, like having a history of overstaying visas or having been deported

    4. Applying for the wrong class of visa, like applying for a working holiday visa when you should apply for a 417 visa.

    5. Not fulfilling the criteria of a visa, like not having the skills for a 457 visa, or having an employer to sponsor you for a 418 visa etc.

  3. A temporary working visa, a holiday working visa, a 'sponsored working visa'... there are many to choose from.
