  1. Work on your short game. Its more then half your strokes so it should be more then half your practice time

  2. YOU NEVER WILL MHUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

(maybe 1 year and a half.)

    Star for you!

    I'm 17 and off 5

(P.S Mouse, Know when to bugger Phat Mullet off do you!?hehehe) THUMBS DOWN FOR YOU!  (I know her as well)

  3. first of all you need to gain considerably more distance to match with your probable excellent short game for your age..................

  4. Hi Mina,

I believe there is no such question of "when can I get my handicap down to a certain number". Over my years of being involved in golf (13 years) I have learnt that it is about how decidated you want to be to your game and how good you want to be. If you train every afternoon (that doesn't not mean talking and stuffing around with people) and try your best without stressing to put it all together when you play a game (competition or socially) it will more likely work out good and your handicap will reduce when you make it happen. When you are practicing with the juniors, there's a time when you need to bugger them off and practice to yourself. Your probably thinking I practice with phat mullet a lot but I know when I need to bugger him and other people off and do my own practice so I know exactly what is going on with my own game. I'm not putting anyone down. Just saying it as it is.

    Have a good one...

  5. Keep practicing and playing a lot.  You are doing great.  Mathematically you are going to need to get 10 rounds posted that are in the 75 to 79 range on golf courses that have a 70 to 71 rating.  That will put you in the 6 handicap range. Good Luck.

  6. Don't stress over getting your handicap down so quick.

If you try and get your handicap down when you are only playing competitions once every 2months you will play a bad competition. This is because you say to yourself, I must get my handicap down here today, so I need to play so many shots under.

Then you shoot a bogey on a couple of holes, this starts to make you worry.

Your 12 and playing off 10. I think that is really good. Keep practicing and your handicap will come down as you are shooting around 10 over.

I am 18 years old, and I play off 16 now but 4months ago I was off 24. I have lost 8 shots and for me that is a great achievement.

I want to get down to 9, but I am just going to let time do it.

Keep practicing and you get there when its time.

Ps. When your getting into single figures it is going to be harder to keep losing shots off your handicap because you need to find where you drop your shots, and there is less room for improvement.

    Good Luck

  7. You can not rush yourself if you go thinking you need to get your score so low then you may golf worse than a 6 handicap.  If you think too hard you do not golf as good if you have a bad hole then your whole round can be shot, move on to the next like you jush started a new round and forget about the last hole.  You just need to do the best you can on every round of golf because sometimes you get breaks in golf. Then other times you can get in trouble with trees, out of bounds, and water.  It is how you play your shots and sometimes you do not get luck and that can cost you.
