Its takes me about 25 minutes to run about that distance, and I dont run very fast at all... so I would probably guess it would take the average person 40-45 minutes? Much longer than that you really dont have much spring in your step!

A gentle walk is  around 3mph, a brisk walk at around 4mph (athletes can probably walk at 6-8mph).

I would expect you could walk the distance in just under an hour without too much effort, provided you are used to walking. Your legs might ache the next day if you are not used to it.
