  1. Well...it would certainly depend on what shape you're in as we speak. But since you're concerned about running a single mile, then I think it's pretty safe to assume you're in bad shape.

Like anything in life it takes practice and dedication to master anything. To start out with, I would head out to a track so you could best measure your distance. Second, I would probably invest in a heart monitor watch. You always want to maintain your cardio level at 85% capacity if you truly want to improve your conditioning. At the beginning a simple trot may get your heart rate at this level if you're in as bad of shape as I suspect. So, whether you're simply walking, trotting, or actually running, make sure you're pushing yourself hard enough to make your heart work. I'd recommend working on this 5 days a week, perfect to improve your conditioning over time but allowing those two days for recovery.

Also, a healthy diet and drinking plenty of water will definitely impact your running in a positive way. Even if you are not losing weight (though you probably will), the diet will clean up your intestinal system which makes you feel much lighter when running.

Assuming right now you're even capable of running from your front door to across the street, you should easily be able to run a complete mile within two months if you stay dedicated to your plan. For further questions on running visit this website, it will answer any questions you may have:

  2. well it all depends how out of shape you are.

  3. Start training now and gradually run longer. since you have two moths, there is ample time to get ready, but you have to make the effort. start out slow and rest then keep increasing the distance and time u run. itll be easier than you think if you start now

  4. depends on your fitness and what time you want to do it in? i recommend finind a nice circut around your house that goes up and down hill and iff possible goes on grass.

thats what i do. runn with music and water (not too much but make sure its enough, carrying a load of water can get annoying.)
