How long would it take (approx.) for shipping from Ontario, Canda (near toronto) to Virginia?

by the slowest mail possible probably. the person has no tracking number, no delivery confirmation, nothing.

it's close to a 2lb package.

In my experience, it can take three weeks and it has taken longer. If a full month passes and you still have not received it, file a claim for loss.

The usual cause is delays in customs, but both Canada and US Post are often slow, and still blame Customs..

US Customs will sometimes allow things to go almost straight through, and it is actually possible for the parcel to be delivered in three to four days, even if the cheapest of rates was used, but this is NOT common.

You should reasonably expect two weeks.

via snail mail it could take up to 14 days.  Getting thru US Customs alone can take 4-5 days.
