How long would it take for a package to travel from America (California I think) to Ireland?

  1. This really depends on the state of two postal systems at the time you sent it, and also the time of year you send the item

    According to the US Postal system, depending on the weight and size of your package, it should take anywhere between 6 to 10 business days.

    From the US, it obviously goes into the hands of the Irish An Post system.

    Factors that can effect post include strikes, holidays, and other busy periods, so you always have to reply on that too!

    I have a Pen Pal in NC, and a letter takes 4 days with Airmail to me in the Irish Midlands. A parcel my cousin sent me from NY took 8 days.

    I would leave 10 days in total, and hope that it gets quicker. Take a quick look at the USPS website, which I have linked for you too.


  2. im from ireland, it took me 8 working days to get something i bought from america, cant remember which state it was tho, but it should be roughly 8 working days. well thats how long it took after i purchased the item.
