How long would it take for our planet to recover from the green house effect and ozone layer depletion?

if earth citizens and Govts were to take some drastic actions from now?

around 300 yrs, but not to worry, you me and the rest of us will be long gone, to the other side which BTW has no health hazards.

The chloroflorocarbon, which is responcible for ozone depletion has a residence time of 110 years in stratosphere. A single Cl molecule, that releases from CFC has a potential to break 1,00,000 ozone molecules. now a days many countries are reducing emission of CO2  and replacing CFCs by HCFCs and HFC. in 1987 a Montreal protocol was signed by 191 countries to reduce and stop CFC emission by 2010 ano Kyoto Protocol was signed by 172 coutries in 1999 to reduce the  emission of CO2. And they are getting success in this commitment. The atmosphere has a self recovery system but these problems are at high level.So it will not recover so soon.

Not very long since it amounts to less than a degree.  It has been estimated that about 1/2 is removed by the carbon cycle every 200 years.

If we ALL moved to Mars- tomorrow (except Al Gore, HE can stay behind & check on how the "Earth's Recovery"- is going. :)  ); it'd probably take at LEAST 150 years -give or take a Generation... :(

as this process of ecological decay causd due to population explosion powered with the greed will lead to the submergence of mumbai within 20 -- 30 yrs

bettr run away 2 d moon or 2 mars to seek shelter as its the end of the earth
