anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours.. where in new york to where in new jersey? they are not tiny states

Depends on where you start and end. If you are coming from Albany to Cape May you looking at 4 hours. Depending on traffic too it could be anywhere from 10 minutes to 5 hours.
