How long would it take me to lose 20lb? ?

Eating every 3 hours.

Of course,not all meals will be used up.

300 kcal or less for main meals

200kcal or less for snacks

1500kcal.

Breakfast: All bran with semi skimmed milk,fruit juice.

Snack: Kiwi fruit

Lunch: wholemeal ham sandwhich

, cup of tea.

Snack: Low fat yogurt

Dinner: Jacket potato with beans

Snack: Proberly a peice of toast with light spread.

Moderatly active 3 -5 times a week.

  1. i have heard that if you just cut way down on soft drinks you will lose alot of weight fast.


  2. 123 lbs at 5'5"....losing 20 lbs. would be unhealthy.  Check the BMI index for you height (you can find many on-line).  You don't want to damage your body trying to be too thin.  You sound like you are a perfect weight.  If you want to tone up, you could try run/walking and/or light weight training!

  3. You will probably not loose any weight at all because you have too many simple carbs in your diet.

  4. i would say 3-5 pounds a week, so about 4-5 weeks. I would look out for low fat yogurt, those are still VERY high in fat. Most of them are just deluted with water. Same with milk. If you could cut dairy out, drink water instead, you would be doing great!

    also, take a multivitamin, it will help.

    example for milk, 2% milk is actually 48% fat by volume. They add lots of water to delute it down to 2% by weight. Water weights way more than fat, so 2% fat by weight and 48% fat by volume. Think about that next time you drink milk.

You will not lose more than 5 pounds how hard you try. as what you have ow must be muscle only. you cant lose muscle. you can lose only fat. 1 kg fat is much bigger than 1 kg muscle. so how hard you try you will not lose more than 5 lbs. you must be already a small frame. you cant lose those bones

  9.   I have lost a stone in 7 weeks by eating 1,400 calories a day and burning at least 200 calories in exercise every day , Remember the more exercise you do the more weight you will lose , Its not sensible to cut down too much on calories
