  1. Assuming a flat course and not much wind:

    - a pro rider on a time trial bike  - 16 minutes

    - a strong local racer                - 21 minutes

    - a serious club rider                - 24 minutes

    - a casual regular rider             - 28 minutes

    - someone taking it easy         - 33 minutes

    - a slow rider                          - 40 minutes

    - a kid on a 20" bike               - 47 minutes

  2. took me about 30-40 minutes on a single speed bmx bike to go for 10 miles

so im guessing around 30 minutes? unless your riding kinda slow about 40 then

  3. In town and at a relaxed pace? 35-40 minutes

Country highways pushing for all your worth? 20-25 minutes

  4. It depends on the bike, the rider's level of fitness and the wind direction but an average cyclist doing a steady pace would do it in about 40 minutes.

  5. Depends on how fast you want/can go.  If you are out and about, plan on 1 hour at a 8mph pace.  If you can hammer out 16mph, then 30 minutes.
