  1. In real time or theoretical time?  Real time allows for traffic and stop lights ect... theoretical time is if you were traveling at a constant speed.   If speed was constant and straight, at 60 MPH it would take 14 minutes to go 14 miles.  The same distance would take you 12 minutes at 70 MPH and 10.5 minutes at 80 MPH.    (divide 60 (1 hour) by the MPH (giving you distance per minute) and times by 14 (distance traveled))

  2. First start by figuring out how many miles you go per minute at each speed.

    60/60 = 1

    70/60 =  1.167

    80/60 =  1.334

Now divide that into your distance traveled (14 miles)

    14/1 = 14mins

    14/1.167 = 11.996mins

    14/1.332 =  10.494mins

This is calculated to the nearest thousandth

  3. 60mph - 14 mins

    70mph -  12 mins 2.4 secs

    80mph - 10 mins 30 secs

  4. take 14 an divide it into each number .....an your answer will be in minutes !!!!!!!!  for each speed

  5. Here are my approximations.....

At 60 mph, you will reach 14 miles at about 15 minutes.

At 70 mph, you will reach 14 miles at about  11 minutes

At 80 mph, you will reach 14 miles at about 7 minutes.

  6. 14 mins-60mph

    12mins-70 mph

    10 min 30 sec 80mph

  7. just do the simple math

    do 14 divided by 60 or 70 or 80

  8. 14 minutes or less
