We are moving from Melbourne to Darwin and are thinking of living in Palmerston but the school I want my daughter to go to is in Rapid Creek.

  1. 30 - 40 mins?!!! how slow are you driving?!!!

    it will take 15 - 20 mins.


  2. Depending on traffic you're looking at a 30-40 min drive but early morning traffic it can take a lot longer and the road is prone to traffic jams.

    If the school is a government school there is zoning rules however, if I'm guessing correctly you are considering another school and there won't be zoning issues but they are pretty popular and depending on the grade you may want to enquire now.

    Oh, but they do have their own bus which runs from the Palmerston/Rural area....if it is that school.
