How long would it take to drive to Alberta, Canada?

...and because it's another country, do you go through some sort of customs, even though you drove? Don't know much about this issue.

It would help to know where you're starting from, and where in Alberta you're going to.  If you're coming from the US, then you will have to go through customs.

If you are going to Edmonton from Pennsylvania, you would pass through Canadian customs. You need a valid government issued photo ID and birth certificate or passport.
