Question:

How long would it take to get a flat stomach?

I'm starting to run 20 minutes everyday and doing 20 sit ups. Is this the right thing to do to get a flat stomach? My stomach isn't huge but not really where I want it to be. I'm 14 and weigh 121 pounds. I have these love handles ( I think thats what their called) too. If I am taking the right steps how long till I see results?

  1. Well, what you are doing now is a good start. I am in a similiar place as you, Im 5'4, 17, and I weigh 118 and I want to lose weight. I am finally seeing results, so I will let you know what I am doing.

    I run about 3-5 miles a day. (I worked up to this. It took about two weeks of training, but I now can run as much as I want)

    I do ab workouts, not just situps. Go on youtube, and type in ab workouts. (also, if you have comcast ondemand tv, you can use that to get them) Try and do one ten minute ab workout per day

    I have cut out all liquids except water and skim milk from my diet. I drink a glass of skim milk in the morning and have only water (LOTS OF IT) throughout the day

    I also eat no fast food ever, try to limit dessert to one small portion twice a week, go on the trampoline and swim everyday, and never eat chips.

    but other then that, I dont really watch what I eat because I feel as if I burn enough calories working out.this plan is effective and it works really well, and its healthy.

  2. Okay here is what you do get that wii fitness i have it will ask how much you want to loose or gain in as many weeks as you want!! it helps really good it has yoga,strength training,balance games and aerobics and you unlock games as you keep going!!
