How long would it take to learn Spanish??

Hey... I have been trying to learn Spanish for, it seems like ages now! I have tried a lot of stuff... I was even really desperate and i tried searching on google but nothing seems to work... Do you know anything free and how long it would take to learn Spanish? Please answer quick!
