  1. LOL MCDONALDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. hey save up for a car :)

or start saveing after you get the laptop.

  3. haha well..I'm 14 and i have a job at maccas...ive been working there about 2 months...i normally work both saturday and sunday and i get paid $7.50 an hour....and i have got $600 in total so far...so you do the math...but yeah about 2 months...

  4. well, i make minimum wage and my paychecks vary from 300-450$ for ever two weeks, but i work about 5 days a week too. Hope That Helps!

  5. McDonalds around here won't hire a 14 year old because legally most of the jobs in there you can't do, atleast not here in Ohio.  Anyways at 14 you can't work very many hours so it would take a lot longer to save up that kind of money.

  6. At minimum wage probably like 2 or 3 months depends on how much you work!

  7. McD's won't hire 14 year olds.

    Sorry.

    EDIT:

You'll only be hired at minimum wage, and there are STRICT Child Labor Laws....it will probably take 4 months or so.  You are only allowed to work 1-2 hours on school days (at least in Illinois you're only allowed a combined # of school and work hours, and that's 8, if you're in school for 7 hours, you're only free to work 1 hour.  They will not have you come in for a 1 hour shift.)

And just because they to hire 14 year olds, that doesn't mean they will hire you.   Sorry.

  8. First of all, you have to be 15 to work at McDonald's. But it would take about 2 months or more, depending on how much hours you're working. It also depends on the minimum wage in your state.

  9. First off I would say that you do not want to mention any of this during the interview. Second... I would just ask what starting pay is... probably minimum wage. What is that in your state? Plus you won't get 100% of it for each hour you work. They have 6hr or 8hr shifts? Just do the math. =) Enjoy your laptop. Enjoy the heat of the kitchen.

  10. My brother got $7.25 an hour and worked about 10 hours a week. After taxes, he usually got around $70-$50 dollars every time he got paid. (He didn't work at McDonalds, but just to show you how much they take out so you don't base everything on the exactly hours you work)

My McDonald's is hiring for $6.25 an hour. Without taxes, you'd have to work 80 hours. With taxes, I'm totally guessing here, I think you'd have to work around 100. Being in school, the max amount of hours you should work is around 4-5 a day (4 p.m to 8 p.m. or 9 p.m.).

I'd say at least 1-2 months if you don't spend ANY of your paycheck.

    Good luck!

  11. It would probably take about half a year if you work 20 hours per week at a rate of $7.15/hour. I don't know how much you make per hour so I just wrote what they pay around here.

  12. IF you have a work permit you can work.

But if you are only 14, you are still in school.

So,i would say a while. It also depends what minimum wage is there. It also depends when your school gets out. I'm a junior, and we get out at 2:10 so i can work longer hours.
