how long would it take on the train to get from manchester to canterbury?

  1. i would estimate about 3 n half hours. You might even have to switch trains.

    Have a look on http://nationalrail.co.uk/ and have a play around with the times and date. It will depend on what time you leave and the train you get.


  2. Because you have to cross London by tube (from Euston to Victoria) this adds quite a bit to the journey time, as do gaps between the connecting trains (Manchester Piccadilly-Euston, Euston-Victoria, Victoria-Canterbury East).



    The fastest connections I can find on http://www.thetrainline.com give a total journey time of around 4 hours 20 mins.
