How long would it take to sail across the irish sea?

Ok, does any one know how long (approx.) it would take to sail on an old 1840's ship from Dublin Ireland, to Brighton England? Like 4 days? 5? idk. Let me know what you guys think :) Thanks!

I would say that it would take up to 14 hours it would not take days.

It takes 6 hours to sail from Lough Folye in the North West or Ireland to Scotland

Depends if you have a stong wind against your back.  If you are going into the wind - it takes much longer.
