  1. well walk from the sun to the earth and will find out

  2. Speed of light = 300,000,000 metres/sec

    Speed of walking = 1.5 metres/sec

    300,000,000/1.5 = 200,000,000 years.

  3. A tiny bit more than 150 million years, at typical walking speed of 7.2 km/h.

  4. You guys can calculate all you want.. However, your forgetting lunch and dinner breaks. sleeping time (at least 7 hours every 24 hours) Illnesses. weather conditions and of course toilet stops. So guys and girls... back to the calculators.

  5. like more than a 100 of our life times lol

  6. Speed of walking= 4 km/hr (say,practically)

    Speed of light = 3 x 10^5 km/s

                         =3 x 10^5 x3600 km/hr

distance of 1 light year= speed of light x time

                                     =3 x 10^5 x 3600 x year

                                     = 3 x 10^5 x 3600 x (365 x 24 + 6) hours     km

time to walk 1 light year =(distance)/ (speed of man)

                                         =   236695000000 hours

                                         = 27019977.168 years exactly....

Dont try to walk, drive on light....!! joking

  7. a little more than our life time.

  8. Approximately 223,200,000 years at 3 miles per hour.

    Seconds in one year: 31,557,600

Speed of Light: 186,000 miles per second

Miles in one light year: 5,869,713,600,000

Average walking speed of an adult: 3 miles per hour

Number of hours to walk one light year: 1,956,571,200,000 hours

Number of hours in one year: 8766

    Years to walk one light year: 1,956,571,200,000 / 8766 = 223,200,000 years

    .

  9. Aw, you'd probably die before you even reach half a light year...Unless you're superhuman like...Smallville.

  10. more then you know

  11. A light year is 9.46*10^12 km, about.

If you walk at 2 m/sec = .002 km/sec, it will take you

    9.46*10^12 / 2*10^-3 = 4.73*10^15 sec.

At about 31557600 seconds per year (call it 3.16*10^7),

this is 4.73*10^15 / 3.16*10^7 = 1.497*10^8 years or about 150 million years, to three significant digits.
