How long would it take to walk from Gard du Nord train station to Rue de Picardie - 75003 in the Marais?

I looked at the Paris Metro website and put in these details and it said the metro journey would take 5 minutes, but I don't want to take a Metro as soon as I arrive in Paris, I would like to walk and it seems quite near! Does anyone know how long it would take to walk, the easiest route, and a map or street names for me to walk down? Thank you for any replies, it's very much appreciated!

I wouldnt walk around that area at all (gare de nord), you'll see why if you decide to.Be careful.

It's about 2 kilometers so at least 20 minutes if you walk fast.

If you have luggage, it will be closer to 30 minutes.

You'd be walking down Boulevard Magenta to Place de la République for the most part.
