How long would world war III last?

Question

If nuclear weapons were not used (conventional weapons only) I know that would be impossible,nuke's would be used.A war game scenario.

How long would the war last? What side's would be taken? who would win? Who would be the first to fall?

I doubt there will be a WW3. That riff raff we went through before was just simple minded junk.

Bombs only fly into countries who cannot protect against them.

There is a cold war. And all that is is taking over countries, using their lands, and arming defenses to protect from a WW3.

The issue is simple. It's an arms race. Money is the God. The winner holds the most. Business is the psychological advance.

The only war coming is revolt... Which is why Russia is attacking Georgia, and the US is attacking Iraq. It's to kill the revolutionary.

If we really cared. We would have protected our allies. Now Georgia is a military base. We'll train troops. What will we gain? Another country standing in defense.

hard to know who falls first, what you can know is it would last for a long long time

if you wanna keep nukes out of it and keep being UN friendly, then forget about using bombs in russia, their nuke facility is in serious bad conditions in general, and you just dont want anything exploding anywhere near them, the contamination if airborn could seriously polute europe

and the strength of UN i belive lays in standing united, hence a war that poluted europe is a no go.

Further more US is not god, what are their problem in afghanistan?

what does most of the world consist of

europe - lots of mountains

australia  - lots of forest and wilderness

asia - both mountains, forest, jungle and wilderness all depending where you go

africa - mountains, jungle and wilderness

If all the other countries had the balls to actually stand up agains the USA...then I'd say it would be the Middle East as a Whole, China, Russia, and a select few in the European Union VS USA, CANADA, UK...and it would last atleast 5 years...judging by the way Iraq is going....and it wouldn't really end, it would just go into some peace talks and the tensions would still be there. Then the Nukes would come out, and then we can say hello to 12/12/2012"the end of the world"

If full bombing runs are allowed and a country like the USA is involved, I would think they could shut down the infrastructure of most small to medium sized countries in a very short amount of time.

Ok......this thing about people thinking that nueks would actuly be used doesn't really make sence the Russians(witch you are refering to) arn'tm stupid the Us missle defence sheild would intercept most of their missles and even if they giot one passed they would have to deal with the retalation of the US nuclear counter attack witch would be 10x worse the Russians are stupid but their not insane they won't use nukes because they know they hit one of our cities we hit all of their cities....

Now about the thing about ww3....the sides would most likely be Russia,china,N.Korea,Cuba,Vensulia and M.east Vs. the rest of the worldand well if you look at it the Eu and US economies alone are 4* that of that little axis of evil.......our equitment is better than their and we have more of it so again we beat them there(T-90 is powerless aginst the M1A2 and lepord 2's) not to mention the Us and our allies have complete naval and aireial domance sothe Us and our allies would win either way and in morders military times the war won't last more than a year......and russia would be the first to fall they are jsut surronded from to many fronts.....
