The usual maximum time goal is no more than fifteen minutes for entrees to go out, but with a packed house, at what point in time would you start to get aggravated?

  1. I get real mad if I have to wait more than four minutes - if it takes seven minute, I go berserk! Who0AAA! YEEEE! GGRRRREEEEEEEFFFFFFF!

  2. If it is a fast food joint, no more than 5 minutes. If it is a sit down place (Chilis, Applebees, TGI Friday, etc) 20 minutes unless you are with a large group or enjoying adult beverages.

  3. I try not to go at peak hours because I know it'll be a long wait. I would say I could get annoyed at more than 10 minutes. I work from 2-11 and my dinner time is usually around 4:30. Bad thing about that is that the Wendy's next door to us seems to be out of everything I want at that time. "We don't have anymore baked potatoes, we are out of chicken caesar salads." s***w that, I'll eat the c**p they serve at work or bring my own food.

  4. Fast food, MAYBE 10, but if it's somewhere like Claim Jumpers, Applebees, Red Robbin, etc. then 30ish...  If it is busy, I understand that they are backed up.  You shouldn't go out to a restaurant expecting food to be there ASAP, then get mad.  it's a waste of time! ENJOY and RELAX! believe it or not, there are other people in the restaurant.  I'd rather my food not be spit in...

  5. It all depends on how busy it is. Restaurants always have longer ticket times on Saturday night at 7pm then Monday lunch at 12:30pm. It also depends on how large your party is, if you have a lot of modification's to the entree, if any of the modifications are due to any allergy. Usually most places I have worked at (I have been a server) have a 15 min ticket time for lunch and 20 for dinner. So, I would say at about 25 30 minutes to ask the server where the food is.

I'm usually very patient because I have worked in a restaurant. However, if there is a problem, I would like to be notified (ie: We accidentally put the onions in that you requested not to have)

With fast food, I would say 5-10 minutes. At about 10 minutes I would get up and see where the food is. I say up to 10 because I am assuming this is their busy time and 10 minutes is more than enough for fast food.
