Exactly, how long would you have to stand in front of a running microwave for before the miniscule amounts of radiation that escape it would inflict damage upon your eyes, skin, or internal organs? Ie, if someone just walked in front of a running microwave approximately one or two inches from it, would they be in any danger, or would it only matter if they actually stopped and stared into it?

  1. For a very long time.  Staring into it is not dangerous.

    You get many many times more radiation talking on a cell phone.

  2. It would depend on the age of the microwave and if seal was intact, but you would probably need to stand in front of a microwave oven for long periods, before any damage were to occur, and there are many other sources of higher radiation in our daily lives.

    But.......*CONTINUALLY ingesting/eating foods cooked in microwave ovens can cause significant long term health risks.

    These can include;

    Demagnetising of the brain tissue (brain damage);

    An increase of cancerous cells in the blood;

    Immune system deficiencies through lymph gland and blood serum alterations;

    Memory loss;

    Stomach and intestinal tumours such as colon cancer;

    Male and female hormone production is altered or even shut down, which results in increased infertility.

    Not to mention the minerals, vitamins and nutrients of microwave foods are reduced or altered so the body receives little benefit. We then absorbs these altered compounds that the body cannot metabolise.

    So I personally would much rather stand in front of a microwave, than eat what is cooked in it! ☺☻☺☻

  3. lol    just stand there and track the time... write back in two weeks.
