How long would you say it would take to make a animation movie?

Well, it depends on the quality, length of the movie, and other things. But if you want an average amount of time, Im guessing at least more than a month if you wanted to make it good.

It can take a lot longer than a month, depending on the length and style of the animated short and how many people are working on it. Just as an example, in our Animation 3 class each student has the entire school year (8 months) to produce an animated short, usually 1-2 and a half minutes in length, complete withe sound and music, credits and titles, etc. Many of the students who decide to do 2 minute films or longer don't finish in time.
