depends on the artist/canvas but all in all I'd probably set aside 3-5 hours

tribal tattoos are not cool. trust me.

people spend lots of money for coverup tattoos and tattoo removal because tribal tattoos are stupid.

Well my dad got one exactly like that.

And we had to go back to the tattoo shop twice and they each took like about 4 hours long

for stuff like that they usually do the outline in one sitting then several to sessions to colour it in, prob take about 3 hours in all.

Tats are cool BUT- that kind of design isn't very original.

mann that is ugly i'd advise u not to get it  ... it's a bit boring and just lumped on there ... but it would take about 3 hours

It would take a few sessions. I have a medium sized tattoo on my back and that took nearly 2 hours. Also because its all black once it's healed sometimes you get specks where the ink doesn't totally take so you would have to go back and get that redone as well.

what meaning does this have for you to get it done??? may I suggest you get something different you could possibly live to regret this one when your older.

that"s a cool tattoo, don"t listen to your other answers who are telling you not to get it, a tattoo is obviously your own personal choice, and if you like it ,go for it..

as it"s quite a large tattoo, it would probably take 2-3 sessions to get it done,..i would say about 3 hours ....it would probably cost a lot to get though, i"m in the u.k. and our local tattooist charges £60 per hour to do large tattoo"s, hope i"ve helped and good luck..
