The pants of mine reaches my ankles when i pull it up over my belly button but the top part seems fine

Also, it seems to be very stiff does it become creas-er (?) over time?

  1. Every company makes a slightly different cut. Most of the time the pants are supposed to worn at the waist but most non-asians have longer legs in which case the pants are too short so they wear them at the hips. As a result most taekwondo athletes wear them very loose, reaching past their heels. I find that shorter pants, about ankle length, are more comfortable because that way your knees don't get stuck when you kick but you might be sacrificing groin space. So wear them however you want but most of the time they are supposed to be very loose.  And the uniform will loosen up with wear.

  2. The uniform will soften with use. You should have full unrestricted range of motion. I have one set that is still a little stiff after about two years. I think it got mixed up with a Judo uniform, these are usually stiffer because they are heavier for grabbing. I prefer the legs a little short as long as they do not bind in the groin .

  3. It should be loose. I have been doing TKD for a few years and it tightens but not much

  4. After you wash it a few times it should shrink a bit and it will soften a little bit.  HAAAIIIIIYYYAAAAA!!!!
