I want to lower my Vauxhall Astra mk4. It has 17" Alloys on so wondered whats the recommended To lower front and back?

  1. Babe it'll still be an astra not a porsche.


  2. Scrapping it is probably the best thing you could do.

  3. go with a coil-over set up, places like ripspeed,demon tweeks will fit and advise you, with coilovers you can adjust the height to suit the wheel size/handling etc, but generally stick it on its **** and make sure the tyres don't rub on the arches,  

  4. Check with Vauxhall it's more a question of you altering the structure and handling of the car instead of hitting bumps etc.

    Also you need to tell your insurance people as you are making it more fun and you  can't have fun in this country without someone making money from you.

  5. however low u wanna go. haha. sorry, no idea. Ask at the garage.

  6. You can only lower the suspension to a max of 40mm

    30 mm on your size wheels or they will rub the arches.
